Ridin' and Prayin', with
Hope Fellowship Riders

Today was an especially cold day for
riding motorcycles. But, it seems
that when we persevere and go anyway
it’s when we make the most
difference and are blessed the most.
Our first stop was to see Rosie
Tigue at Baylor Irving. Walking up
the
walkway we meet a man named Mathew,
who’s wife has been given 24 hours
to live. He was distraught. Laying
hands and praying for him was a
blessing, as he exclaimed, “she
knows the Lord.”
Then, we all squeezed into Rosie’s
room along with brother-Pastor Gary
Tigue, and all, “in unison prayed a
power packed prayer on her behalf,
that our Most High God would heal
her and raise her up out of that
bed, healed in the name of Jesus.”
We never go far in a local Hospital
until we are asked to pray for
someone, God knows our business, and
HE handles it well.
Pastor Gary called us back to the
fourth floor and we prayed for the
owner of Fred’s BBQ, and he really
appreciated and thanked God for us.
We then rode over to see Wild Bill,
our ex outlaw biker, who's in a
local facility for elderly and
disabled. Bill was waiting for us in
the foyer as usual, wearing a big
ole smile for all to see. We blessed
Bill with a new Harley shirt with
long sleeves for this cold weather.
Then, we prayed for him and his
neighbors who wheeled into the room
to oversee our visit. God is so
good.
Our next stop was at Parkland. We
were once again allowed, full access
to CCU, which is GOD at work again,
to pray and lift up Larry Galliant,
our second week to visit him. His
wife Renea and his mother really are
astonished that we take the time to
visit with people and have noted the
difference in Larry’s recovery from
the prayers.
The last, “but definitely not
least”, Children’s Medical to see
our very own Ricky Dehming. Ricky is
always cheerful and glad to see all
of us.
God is doing a miraculous work in
Ricky’s body. Ricky says we look
really good on TV referring to local
coverage of Hopes Angel Tree run
which was filmed just before
Christmas.
Riding home you reminisce of the
prayers and blessings God has given
you.
Long day? Maybe.

Tired and cold? Probably.
Blessed? Absolutely!
Until next time, be very blessed.
